I've heard a lot of complaints about the Keurig, that they don't last long enough for the money they cost. If you are unfortunate enough to have it go out after the warranty is up, the only thing you can do is throw it out and that in itself fills up the landfills. Based on that alone, Mr. Coffee is better for the environment. I've had mine for about 10 yrs. I like my Mr. Coffee.
